Kitchen island in Eden Condominium by Highpointe DBR, LLC

Eden Condominium Whole-House Makeover

At the time it was built, Eden Condominiums on Perdido Key were the finest in the area. However, after 30 years of use the new owners of this unit wanted a complete update and their own custom touches.

Working with Highpointe’s designer and owner, Hal Lovato, they set about to completely renovate the space — top to bottom.

By removing all the floors and finishes, we started with a blank slate featuring a wall of glass opening out to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Focusing on the view, we oriented the living spaces and kitchen to have views from almost every available angle. Featuring an immense quartzite island and double living spaces, the owners can enjoy quiet retreats as a couple as well as large get togethers with kids and grandkids.

Beautifully distressed oak cabinetry and sparkling stainless appliances keep the space light and bright, but still warm and inviting. A bunk room for the children serves double duty as a kids’ den when it’s time to relax. The space features polished aluminum rails, private cubbies with lights and charging stations for all the kids’ electronics.

The master bath features an incredible double shower with curved benches and more of the aged oak cabinets. Beautiful Brizo plumbing fixtures and hardware provide the finishing touches for this beautiful gulf-front residence.
